Terms of Use

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and LFG Digital LLC governing your use of FishXP. By creating an account or using FishXP, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What FishXP provides

FishXP is a real-world freshwater fishing game that lets players log catches, build a FishDex, earn XP, unlock progression, complete quests, join competitions, and create shareable catch cards. Features may change as the game develops.

Accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your credentials, and activity under your account. Do not impersonate another person, create accounts to manipulate rankings, or share access in a way that compromises the service. You may delete your account inside the app.

Fair play and catch verification

Ranked catches must represent a real catch and include the verification information requested by FishXP. Do not submit stolen, misleading, manipulated, duplicated, or fabricated photos or measurements. We may review, disqualify, remove, or adjust catches, XP, rankings, rewards, tournament entries, or accounts when we reasonably believe rules were violated or data is unreliable.

AI identification and scoring

Fish identification, verification, scoring, rarity, and recommendations may be assisted by automated systems and can be wrong. They are game features, not scientific, legal, safety, regulatory, or professional determinations. Players remain responsible for identifying species, following local regulations, and correcting inaccurate entries.

Your content

You retain ownership of photos and other content you submit. You grant LFG Digital LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and share that content only as needed to operate, promote, secure, and improve FishXP and the public or sharing features you choose or enable. You represent that you have permission to submit the content and that it does not violate another person’s rights.

Community conduct

Do not submit content that is illegal, threatening, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, graphically cruel, deceptive, invasive of privacy, infringing, or intended to expose another person’s private location. Do not attempt to exploit, spam, scrape, disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to FishXP. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or cooperate with lawful requests when necessary.

Location and outdoor safety

Exact fishing locations are sensitive. Do not expose another person’s private fishing spot without permission. FishXP does not guarantee access, water conditions, weather, legality, or physical safety. Follow fishing laws, property rules, weather warnings, boating requirements, and safe outdoor practices. Never rely on the app in place of judgment or emergency services.

Competitions and rewards

Quest, tournament, leaderboard, XP, badge, unlock, and promotional rules may vary by event and location. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, virtual XP, badges, rankings, gear, and unlocks have no cash value and cannot be transferred. Separate official rules will apply to any promotion involving prizes or special eligibility requirements.

Availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain, secure, or improve FishXP. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every device, region, fish species, or catch will be supported.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FishXP is provided “as is” and “as available.” LFG Digital LLC disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

Termination

You may stop using FishXP or delete your account at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, security risks, fraud, legal requirements, or conduct that harms FishXP or its community.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law. Questions can be sent to karl@lfgdigitalllc.com.
